ohhh that makes sense now... your ment to just write the name of the file you wish to extract, not the file directory so in your case all you need to write will be "Pokemon Star" obviously without the speech marks. if theres any more issues just screenshot and send again

maybe it's your build of Hackingtoolkit3ds try get the last release of it (make sure its not 9ds coz that does not work for some stupid reason :I)
its the one released on April 3rd 2017

maybe its case sensitive try renaming the Pokemon Star.3ds file to something you can easily write down (whatever you want it to be) and then try it

... if that doesn't work try contacting @Asia81 to resolve the issue :/

Found the problem i had to use tool with admin rights thanks anyway for you help if there something else i probably let you know

seems i have to annoy you one more time the file was decompressed an updated and i also put the file together but now i still can't play after use citra to play it citra give me error and it stops working

wait... did you extract the .3ds file because it is not meant to “disappear” or anything...


whats inside the star folder? it might be the problem area if you get what i mean

yes the map star Contains the extracted files from the game

the ExtractedRomFS files are all you need
... if your just making edits on the garcs... i think thats all u could do anyways with the dozens of tools we have anyways :/

screenshot of what error shows up?

No error. It says "CIA installed successfully", yet the software never appears, and after restarting CITRA, it still doesn't appear. The original Ultra Moon appears if I install it, though. So there must be something wrong with Star's CIA.
