Should I also warn everybody not to use it as in the leaked version? As it's exactly the same file byte by byte. Is it also unsafe as the leaked one then?

It seems they were just spreading fears to keep people from using it. The files are the same. Already downgraded 2 DSis with fwtool when it leaked. Here are the required files: https://anonfiles.cc/file/6f61b2e87dd2b05aa6cafcba12fbffff

With enough time and patience, you can downgrade and inject the old exploit games manually to your nand.

@ThisIsDaAccount What Microsoft Visual Studio C++ Redistributable runtime does the SRL extractor use?

It wanted me to have MSVCR100.dll installed, and I grabbed one from DLL files dot com. Maybe that's why my SRL extractor won't start.

It can take a couple of tries. Make sure you have your .nds file named as 2222.nds on the root of the SD card, and that your SD card is an SDHC card (between 4 gb and 32 gb). If it still doesn't work, try replacing payload.dat on the root with this, and renaming 2222.nds to HBMN.nds.

I'm one of the contributors to dsiguide.me. If you follow the instructions carefully and test your nand in no$gba before flashing (very important!) you shouldn't brick.

I want this to be clear, MY BRICK IS UNRELATED TO UGOPWN, I WAS IRRESPONSIBLE AND SCREWED UP MY NAND, UGOPWN IS SAFE.

I downgraded safely, then tried to pirate DSiWare. I did not double check my nand, and flashed a bad dump. RIP me and sorry for misleading

If I managed to recover the right leak. they are the same. MD5 for files inside "ugopwn" folders matches

We waited like what, 2 months since the leak? And we get the same files I found with ease after the leak was removed and we can't even get eur and jap support... Amazing.

maybe the developer thought he could improve the files a little further in comparison to the leaked files, but that didn't materialize and decided to release the exploit anyway.

If I remember correctly, the first leak here on GBATemp happened on first days of August. so yeah a little more than 2 months
