To dump the theme files from your console basically you need to mount the system partition with hacdiskmount, find the qlaunch nca in titles and unpack it with hactool, i'll write a more detiled guide for this but it's not hard at all and you don't really need it cause you can use another custom theme as a base.

On the discord, I tried a theme that's working in settings, in 6.0

settings on 6.0 require patching another szs as well, this has most likely been done manually, my tool automates it so it needs to be implemented

If anyone wants their DDS files hosted on a webserver for use with the auto theme injector. I am more than happy to add them to mine for you

I made my emunand updated to 6.0.1 via SX OS but my sysnand stays at 4.1.0. How do I export emunand as correct format so I can dump my system?
 
Could someone help me find a specific theme? Earlier today I was browsing the forum on my phone and I saw this theme for 5.1 that had a background of what I think was a Crystal of sorts and a custom layout that made most of the background visible. I've looked at all the threads I can think of where it might be, but I can't for the love of god, find the damn thing and now it's driving me nuts:angry:

I don't know if maybe a mod deleted the post for sharing illegal files or not, but if so I should atleast be able to see that the post was deleted, but I just can't find it...

EDIT: Nevermind, I never found the post here the that had the original theme, but I found one on the Discord server with the same layout. That's good enough

I don't know if this is perhaps an obvious question, but does custom theme layouts work on 5.1 or do you NEED a 6.x firmware to apply these?

I've tried a few times now to add my own background to common files that supposedly features custom layouts, for my 5.1 Switch, and it doesn't work. BG is changed, but I just get the regular layout. I also don't get any custom layout options in Switch Theme Injector when I open a 5.1 common szs. file.

Layouts only work if you use ResidentMenu, it works on 5.x as well but it only affects home menu like on 6
