Having some camera issues. I play with original cam enabled. However since V8 the cam oftentimes zooms very far Out. In the Rainbow road for instance, Mario is very far away. When I try to get a bit closer I get in first person imedeately.

Can someone post comparison images of all the different textures available?
That would be pretty nice.

These are from version 7 (I guess?) so if they are still the same, these pictures might help:

Edit: If someone has those packs compiled for v8 please drop me a PM. =)

Some of those are included in v8 I think.
But I'm not sure if ALL of them.
I'd love to try Mollymutt's, I remember I had a bookmark for that texture pack because I thought that was the absolute best out of all the texture packs available that matched SM64's aesthetic and artwork.
is that one in v8?

Since the textures can be extracted from the 3D All stars release, could these be added as an option? The hud and fonts do look good on the 3D All Stars release.

can you share your version

Thanks, I got it running but kind of overwhelmed with all the graphics options (in a good way). I haven't keep up with the modding community, any must have recommendations that you're using? Do they overlap each other?
I recommend the same settings that the comment said below ours because with full sgi it creates a lot of lag and isn’t very enjoyable to play.

Just wondering if the Z trigger (crouch etc) can be remapped to the switch's ZR? I've tried in the menu, but nothing happens

Same issue here, a workaround would be to use the switch settings to remap it system wide. I would love to be able to remap it within the game though, doesn't seem to work...

Hello, I have tried version 8 with version 7 installed previously and I don't like it very much, I wanted to go back to V7 but it won't let me turn off the high jump effects invulnerability or put the original camera on. Does anyone know how to solve this?

I have tried deleting the sm64.conf file but it is the same

Maybe it's saving data like a proper Switch game, try using Checkpoint to delete the save? Tho don't to that if you don't want to lose game progress. You could always reinstall v8, change the options how you want them, then go back to v7?

Any advantage to upgrading from v6 if I don't care about texture packs? v6 seems to run great, so much better than the Nintendo port.

v8 has mirror mode and some extra cheats.

Hippydave is correct, dump the save with checkpoint, delete the conf save(s), restore it.

Any chance that the mario odyssey moveset could ever be added?
