There are some problems with the CIA build. The folder containing the CIA file have others files, I don't know why they are here. And when I launched it, Sunshell was recognized as the NH build. Because of that, I couldn't use function as 3DSX launcher or FTP.

It should be encoded like the AVI you provides to official 3DS video app (obviously withtout time limits).

You should use vid2jpgv but the input you give it should me something like the AVI supported by official 3ds video app.

I followed the instructions to install Sunshell on my old 3ds, but it showed a black screen when I loaded it up through homebrew. I looked at all the instructions and made sure everything was done, and still a black screen. What did I do wrong?

You placed folder in the wrong folder. As the readme says, they must be put in main_dir described inside config file.

I'm not going to work on it until dsp service will be fully working.
