So I see 1.2.5 came out. What the heck is the issue with updating the Android version? Are they not both written in Java?
Lol I have been asking that for about 2 months now and keep getting told it's coming by the end of the week. Each week goes by and no Android update.

I had to sell my smartphone so I could pay the bills and some other things. So, I don't have the ability to test easily anymore. A friend is lending me his phone this weekend, so I'll release between Friday and Monday, not sure which day exactly.

And yes, both are written in Java, but the GUI uses different code between them. So, it's not just a copy - paste as some people would think it is. (The file sending code, yeah, it won't change, but the GUI and different threads handling processes must be reworked).

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

My time has been used in some other things. In getting something to eat, for example. No smartphone (sold it), no laptop anymore (sold it too, and using an old dual core desktop computer right now), it's hardest to test. And sending it to other people for testing each single build just isn't productive enough.

I never said "this weekend" any other week. Last time I checked I said "probably next week I'll have some time", but this time I assured in my answer that this weekend I'll have a lot of time.

So, sorry for not updating sooner, but there was never an exact given ETA over which to dissapoint about (maybe "probably next week", "in a few weeks", I said, but it was never an exact date).

And I understand your comments, but seriously, I had some other things to do. And maybe I sounded rude, so sorry for that.

It's all good I just need the android apk that's all as I don't have a computer at home at the moment and my android phone has no sd card slot so your app is the only way I can get games onto my 3ds. Did once take my 3ds sd card into work to copy games onto it and got caught and nearly got fired lol.

Alright. I'll PM you when it's ready. :)

Thanks and I know you have said you don't like sending things out for people to test but if you ever need the android apk tested before you give it to the rest of the world I would be glad to help.

Okay.

And it's not that I don't like to share beta stuff. It's that, since I don't have an Android smartphone anymore, sending every single build for testing would take a lot of time. Sending one build after many improvements and a little bit tested by me is what I like to do. But, again, without Android right now, there's no way to do that. I'm borrowing one this weekend, so I'll advance a lot by then.

If you have windows you could use an android emulator like bluestacks or amiduos both work really well.
I tried with bluestacks some time ago. Many problems when testing with real connections stuff. I don't know how good it could be right now. Maybe I'll look into it.

Hey man i'm really sorry you're broke n shit, i feel that too. Where do you live? I'd like to help out however i can.

Any reason why I get 436 kb/s max when transferring any file (size doesn't matter :creep: )
I have 2 N2DS devices and get 436 kb/s as maximum speed, both devices have different type of SD cards (Samsung EVO+ , Samsung Pro+)
Tried changing buffer-size (256, 512, 1024)
Tried Legacy Mode (But since FBI is 2+, it does not transfer)
Tried FBI 2.2.1 and 2.3.1

Perhaps someone had the same problem and solved it somehow :)

That's kind of the max speed you'll get with FBI 2. Most routers will give you 500-600 KB/s maximum. Some people gets 1,000 KB/s with FBI 2, but it's mainly because of their routers.

Legacy Mode is only for FBI 1.4.17, as it says in the tooltip when you enter the mouse over the option. If you try using the wjchen's FBI 1.4.17 build that is linked in the OP along with Legacy Mode, you could easily get 1,000 KB/s -> 1,200 KB/s.

What could be the issue if the exe is stuck at Retrieving update info?
I couldn't test updates with the latest version. Try letting it be for 10 minutes, and if it still doesn't cose itself, sorry, you'll need to wait for an update of the EXE.

I'm releasing it tomorrow. I would compile it today, but I'm not at home. Sorry.

@Olmectron some clarification I'd send it free bc I know how broke feels. Also I'm maximum excite for the new Android build

So I'm trying to use SocketPunch Android, and every time I try to punch a 1.1.6 SaltySd cia to FBI 2.2.1, it goes through the usual prompts, then immediately says "Install completed" while SocketPunch is stuck at 0%. I have Android 5.1.1

Android version doesn't work with FBI 2, yet. That's stated in the OP. Use it with wjchen's build of FBI 1.4.17, it's linked in the OP too.
