Hi, my niece want more lives and coins in NSMB2, so I tried the WIP NSMB2 Editor. But dunno if it's me or game or editor. It was working only for File 1 (File 2 and 3 were unchanged) and no starcoins, just money. So I decided to release my one. After a stupid accident where my whole project folder got deleted, I managed to finish it once again (almost). well, to shorten the story ... here is my version.

Tested on 2x O3DS XL 9.9.0.26E SKY3DS ironhax

I didn't post my v2 here for some reasons, but since I got some requests I decided to finalize the NSMB2 SGE. So v3/final is here - even the GUI is ugly.

Money

option for "start as"
option for "itembox"

all Star / Moon Coins,
Max Score
all Worlds / Levels unlocked (including the ones you need to unlock with star coins)
Invincible Leaf Block at the beginning of each Level

I will now play without having to grind for all of them! :P

Now all that's left is just adding an option to edit the DLC courses saves and times. :P

One question, is this compatible with all regions and also with the Gold Edition of the game?

Dunno, I dont have the Gold Edition for test.

Post #1 updated to latest version. As always: Make a BACKUP of your savegame. This SGE was tested on 2 O3DS XL EUR FW9.9 with NSMB2 Card

I got another question.
Does this modify the DLC stages too?
Or just the main stages?

I'd be great if we could edit the score for the DLC packs found in the Gold Edition.

Should be. But I don't know if there are any secure bytes. I only have SSMB as eshop version (was the bundle). All other games on physical cards.

Unfortunately I don't have any DLC packs, so I cannot try :(

Hey man!
Just to let you know, I just tried this with New Super Mario Bros. 2 Gold Edition and everything seems to be working fine. :)
I know it took me quite a while to finally test this, but better late than never. xD

The save ID for Gold Edition is 0000137E
I uploaded the .dat file just in case.

it gives me the block at the start even when I don't select it anyway to stop this
