I've tried running the memchunkloader on my o3dsxl running fw 9.5. It loads occasionally (1/7 tries so far), when it does load, it boots for a bit before panicking, trying to kill init.

EDIT: I've finally managed to get it running and into the command prompt. I can confirm it does run on 9.5, but it's really unstable.

Cool, nice to hear that! And yeah memchunkhax2 is really unstable at the moment :/

Now imagine how Awesome would look like on a 3DS...

Have fun reading all that on a 4" screen...

I've managed to get Linux booting by using the Memchunkhax2 exploit, check the first page to get the download link. It's really unstable at the moment (maybe you will need to try 5 times to get it working).
I haven't tried on a FW bigger than 9.3 so it would be nice if you can tell me if it works :)

I've got a New3DS on 10.3, and I've been trying out the memchunkhax2 loader, and outlook is not so great.

Out of 10 attempts (from the Homebrew Launcer, entering via menuhax & ironhax) 8 failed outright - on steps #5, #7 & #8

The remaining 2 times it got past the loader, both screens would output garbage - non-moving static

So not much joy yet! I'll keep an eye on this thread and test again if the loader gets more stable.

So from what I've seen so far (very little) this is supposed to be an Arch install, right?
I get that the low size and manageable packages would be a key part in deciding, but instead I'd use Damn Small Linux.

Also,
