Can anyone help me figure out how to run this? To provide some background, I played Sinking Sapphire (a ROM hack) and it overwrote the Save key (I think that's what it was called?) of my real Alpha Sapphire which was also on the same SD Card. I need to JKSM (or a similar program) to delete the Sinking Sapphire Save Key so that I can go back and play my old Alpha Sapphire save file with all my shinies/progress/event legends etc. I am having trouble figuring out how to get this working/finding an alternative. Do I really have tamper with my 3DS and use a Gateway just to use .cia files?? If so is there an alternative to this program where I wouldn't have to?

EDIT: Also I'm using Freakyhax to access homebrew on an Old US 3DS version 11.0.0.33 if that helps.

Try two things. First, remove everything from the homebrew portion of your SD card and re-add everything from the original zip/source files. Second, try powering the 3DS completely off and back on again (this fixes far more things than you'd expect)

I had the 3ds off for about 15 minutes with the battery removed, and removed every file but the DCIM folder and the Nintendo 3DS folder from the SD, still getting the camera when i open jksm :/

Do you have the JKSM.xml file in the directory with the 3dsx? It's in the release zip. I accidentally moved it before the git commit and the source isn't ready for an update yet.

Hey I have rxtool ( my base firmware is 6.0 ) and my Emunand ( 11.0 ) can I still use this to export my pokemon X/Y save file and then load it on my pc to mess around with pokegen/pkhex and then import it back to my 2ds without no problem?

No, I don't, where is that zip? can't find it in op

EDIT: Nvm, found it, gonna "re-install" everything, wipe freaky data and all, and start from scratch now, expect results soon

yes but... uh.... RXTools is kind of... outdated... you probably should consider changing to Luma3DS and, if possible, A9LH.

well yea Ik but it was very simple and I honestly rather not do anything too difficult, so this does work on rxtool?
hum, yes. Seriously though, you already have an EmuNAND and all, you really should get A9LH and screw RXTools x.x.

because it was pretty easy to install, and this isn't the thread for this :V
still x.x

Luma IS the most straightforward CFW, and the most noob-proof.

Oh well, back on topic, I guess.

Yes, it should work.

Seems like it's working now, but I can't export mhx save (wanted to convert it to mhgen, freezes after starting jksm with mhx)
It's working because i can backup/import mhgen save

edit: managed to load up once, but it didn't recognize the game, it just stated ":3ds" as the game, and it failed when exporting extdata

actually, it is possible. On my 11.0 n3DS I have exorted saves from Fantasy Life, MHGen, and various other games like Pokemon that store their saves on the cartidge itself. The only things I cant do require kernel access. What likely happened is something got corrupted in the 3dsx file or its configurations, so deleting and re-adding the original WOULD help if that was the case. Just because this account is new doesn't mean I'm inexperienced.

yes
Yes but what im saying is there no configuration e.t.c

Can someone link me to the tutorial on how to use this (or explain to me) I'm very new to the process and could use some help...

There is a configuration XML, which any targeted launch .3dsx needs to work correctly, which very likely is what has turned out to be the issue in this case. Save managers do, in fact, work on 11.0.0 as a rule with specific exceptions, as I have said to you before.
