But I don't want to boot into sysnand. That's why none of my games are showing up. Regardless I tired it and it still brought me back to ctrbootmanager. How do I launch Grid Launcher from within emunand?

Did you hold the button until ctrbootmanager came up again? From the point you clicked on the HBL CIA?

Yes, it red screens the bottom. The only way I could get Grid Launcher to display my games installed to emunand was to let Reinand load, start the HBL cia I installed, let it boot back to ctrbootmanager without holding the sysnand button (red screens if I hold it), then launch Grid Launcher from ctrbootmanager.

Edit: Got it figured out, for the most part, by adding shortcuts to my games with sulokus launcher.

Edit: Got it figured out, for the most part, by adding shortcuts to my games with sulokus launcher.

You can edit hbl loader's payload in sd card to boot a different file than boot.3dsx, that will allow you to skip ctrbootmanager and go directly to your desired 3dsx file.

1.- Launch hbl launcher holding "Y". This will write the payload to sd card
2.- Open the payload with hex editor in the computer and search the string "boot.3dsx"
3.- Change "boot.3dsx" to whatever, I pesonally use "boo1.3dsx", but you could put anything with 9 letters (including extension), for example "emund.hbl".
4.- Now when you use hbl loader from emunand it will load your desired file, not having to worry about ctrbootmanager's autoboot.

note: if you update your emunand, you'll need to redo the process, since you'll need to get a new payload for hbl launcher to work.

I don't get why you want to use this to boot games though, you always need to get trough home menu to get to hbl/grid launcher to boot the games. If it is for region free, there are other more convenient methods.

yeah.....thx....the one for gridlauncher doesnt work with 9.2 emunand....least not mine.....going back to smeas original....thanks for your time...

Er you must be doing something wrong as mashers launcher works perfectly on 9.2 emunand

tried the masher one 6 or 7 times no go. that was coldboot, but everytime i launched through ninjhax 2.5 it worked every time. so i swapped it for smeas original and coldboot works fine with it. unless its someting to do with the imagedisplay pic....will swap that about see wot happens.......thx guys for all your input....am grateful.....
