@mashers I notice that the wifi and battery icon have no padding around them; they're pushed way too close into the corners. Could you perhaps move them away from the corners just a tiny bit (2-3 pixels)?
I've been trying to get him to do this since beta 32 good luck man :)

Oh yeah I forgot about that. I'll get that in the next beta.

I was thinking of making them draw in the light left colour to match the text on the status bar. What do you think?
I know you where not asking me but i think we should have the ability to change the color of everything. Speaking of clocks. Would it be possible to have one of those white circle clocks with the hands some where on the top screen instead of digital. I'm sorry i forgot what there called - Analog maybe... Take android for example. That be really dope.

Edit: Android was a bad example - i forgot they are square now

It's fine for me, however wait for the theme makers' voice! :D

Small bug, crashes when trying to enter the About screen! :D

Is animated water on? If so, can you try turning off the animation, and also try disabling the water altogether? I'm trying to work out if it's the water hiding which is causing the crash, since this is something the two screens have in common.

When I boot a game title (eg. Slot 1) through the home brew grid laincher and then I press the home button, the system hangs, bottom screen goes to a grey color and I eventually get the black screen message telling me to force poweroff.

Am I the only one who is experiences this bug ?

PS: I am using the autoboot version of home menu hax to launch this.

I've heard of more people having this problem. For me it takes me to the home menu just fine. The new ninjhax 2.5 will fix that for everyone. :)

@mashers keep up the great work! I would like to point out a few things

Possible feature
  • Add translucency adjuster to the translucent panel (comes off a bit too grey on my theme)
Bugs
  • Translucent panels draw on both the about page and folder help page on the top and bottom screens when the translucent panel option is not selected
  • About page still says beta 35 (very small, but thought I would point it out!)
Looking forward to further releases!

@mashers On the first post, could you post a changelog? It's hard to see what's new and what's been fixed since so many people are posting.

@mungry Thanks for your feedback! Those issues are all sorted in beta 37 which I have just uploaded:
  • Back panels for top and bottom screens now have independent alpha values
    • Default value is zero so they will not be visible initially
    • Set the alpha value to whatever looks best for your theme
    • Set to zero to disable the panel
  • Page controls now have back panels
    • These use the same alpha value as the bottom panel
    • They are drawn in the 'inactive' colour so they match the app icon backgrounds
  • Status bar images have been brought two pixels away from the edges of the screen
  • Added an option to disable the jiggly-water-on-keypress effect

I noticed you're now naming it boot1.3dsx; however, in the HBL-Emergency releases, it's now boot_1.3dsx. If you're trying to work with that, you should rename it so it's default.
Actually that was a mistake. I call it boot1.3dsx because I use the emergency launcher as boot.3dsx. I usually rename it before creating the archive to upload, but must have forgotten this time.
