This isn't EoF, stop shitposting.

TheCruel will release more info when he's ready, I wouldn't expect to hear much until the 28th though. As he said in his video, he's busy, hence the delay in release.

Yeah, not much news. I got back from vacation couple days ago and started working on this again. But I haven't even gotten back to freeShop, I'm working on making my dev framework (cpp3ds) stable. That way when I release it, people can compile it for themselves too without dealing with my currently broken lib/framework it uses.

So not doing anything interesting yet, nothing noticeable to users anyways. Though I did add a quick title screen animation with logo, similar to BrewMan's. I'm still expecting to release and push the source on the 28th, but it won't look much more improved from the version in the video.

@TheCruel This may be off topic, but I'm pretty sure cpp3ds doesn't have it's own thread. A quick look at the github said that cpp3ds wold provide realtime debugging - I'm pretty sure the only thing stopping the development of the Digimon 3DS translation was the lack of a proper debugger, do you think it would be of any help to them (or any other translation team)?

debugging homebrew is one thing, debugging a commercial game with no source is another... :) it won't help them

I'll be making a thread soon once I get it building properly and add some better examples. That's what I've been doing this week.

And it would not help with Digimon. As cearp said, the debugging would be strictly for cpp3ds homebrew (it compiles to native platform for you can run/debug it on your PC).

This looks great, once you've implemented a way to distinguish between regions it'll be near perfect. Great work

So do the downloaded games behave just as normal games do? As in, can they be updated when new versions come out?

Can you push the release date for this back until homebrew is available for ver 11.0.0-33U because I downloaded the recent firmware update.

Nah it's the Temp 3DS section.
99.9% is "I'm basically going to call the name of that prohibited site where you can download warez but I do it in such a way that it's borderline breaking the rules" and the 0.1% is actually interested in homebrew and handheld security.

It's a crying shame.

Aye I got those,
Dead as a dodo unfortunately ;-;
.....But it's not a shame, that politicians in greedy corporations pockets have colluded and made a huge disparity between peoples. That less than 1% of people world wide hold and own over 99% of the worlds money, land, resources....

What a narrow view....poor Nintendo and other big corporations, a tiny percentage who would never buy said games use them for free.... what a joke....

I respect your right to your opinion, respect you and have nothing against you, but come on, morals and profit driven corporations can never co-exist outside fantasies like yours.
