Hacking [Release] Freescreenshots Plugin

Freescreenshots is a taiHEN plugin to literally free screenshots on your Vita. This plugin does two things:

1- It enables screenshots for some games/apps which block taking screenshots. PSP emu is one example to this.
2- It removes watermarks on screenshots some games/apps apply to screenshots.

How to use:

Put "freescreenshots.suprx" in 'tai' folder in the root of your Vita.
Change config.txt in that directory to load plugin for title of your choice by adding new lines like below:

# titleid for your game (this one is for Super Stardust Delta for example to remove watermark on screenshots)
*PCSA00006
ux0:tai/freescreenshots.suprx

# titleid for your game (this one is for Ape Escape Demo for example to enable screenshot for ARK)
*NPEG00005
ux0:tai/freescreenshots.suprx

After that, you can use PS button + START combo as usual to take screenshots. Now screenshots are enabled on every app/game and they won't be watermarked.

So i can simply put *ALL then add the plugin, and it will work on anything without having to list each app on the system. I'll try this plugin out.

Is it possible to output to 720P or higher considering psvita does screen shots like that?

*ALL should work, haven't tried it personally though.

This only patches official functions so that they always return screenshots are enabled and they don't have any watermark. So no effect on screenshot quality etc.

yup. Everything is same as official screenshots.

It does work... you have to tell it to reload the config.txt file in MolecularShell, but it does indeed work with Vita games. I just tested it with WipeOut 2048. However, it doesn't seem to play nice with Adrenaline. Is anyone else using the old version? Can you confirm this? I just get a black screen with this plugin installed.

Adrenaline also hooks the same functions as this to disable screenshots, that might be why, dunno. Disable the plugin for adrenaline.

Just tried it! Works very well. Now I can take tons of pictures from my VNs without that annoying watermark!

Just wondering, any way to disable the shutter sound? It's always super loud.

Heh, now I'm having problems again. The weird thing is, now that I've switched to Adrenaline 2, Camera Patch works, but Free Screenshots doesn't! Augh!

I dunno, I'll look at it later. Probably.

Still not working for me. This is what I've got in config.txt:

ux0:tai/freescreenshots.suprx

That's it. Should I add more? I've tried reloading it in Molecular Shell, but I still can't take snapshots of Wipeout 2048.

If both doesn't work, not much to do i guess. Also please try other games.

Can anyone confirm Wipeout 2048 works with this plugin? I have the cartridge but too lazy to search for it.

this doesn't work on Super heroine chronicle.
when starting the game it will self reboot and bring back to the game srceen with the error said
"A problem occurred the last time this system was used, and it did not power off correctly"
