Homebrew [Release] FBI - Open source CIA installer

If you have a "clean" ticket.db ( I mean without tickets in the unkown folder ), make a backup of your current one(for safety reason, if you screw up) and replace it with your old "clean" one.
Then make sure you enter eShop and let it take it's time (it will take 1 or 2 mins) to re-install automatically all the legit tickets from the games you bought.
If the backup titles you have are legit and bought from eShop then you will have no problem

And if they're just legal and not buyed from eshop? Like carts backups

Sorry I do not know the answer to this question.. :-/
But I suppose they go to the unknown folder as well because game carts do not have tickets to install I think

Hey, everybody! Brand new to modding and what not. Followed the 3ds.guide until I got to the part where I have to install the CIAs. When I tried to install the CIA's through the FBI, it gave me an error Exception Occurred. Here is the link to the picture

Just had the same error while walking my friend through the installation; turned out an old version of boot.3dsx was to blame. Try using the newest one:

Name your firmware and cfw.

Hello guys,

I am on the latest Luma with boot9strap and firmware is 11.2.0-035E. Everyhting went fine, but FBI just keeps crashing. sometimes after 5seconds and sometimes after 1min, but it is crashing.

do you guys have some infos how to fix this?

EDIT: Got confirmation elsewhere that it seems to be working now, so I've updated the 2.4.8 release build on GitHub.

I'm not sure if this is a FBI problem or a Rosalina problem but on Luma 8.1 when running FBI as a 3dsx through the homebrew launcher, it can't access CTR or TWL Nand and gives an error about archive access (this happens even if Rosalina archive patch is on, though I haven't tried with the boot time archive patch)

This is on a N3DS XL on 11.4 , with Download Play used as the injection point, both EU and US.

I figured I'd report this here first since FBI hasn't had a release since Rosalina was introduced.

Edit - Title installs and save management still work, it just seems to be NAND access that's failing.

I believe you can uninstall FBI from within itself and then install the revised release before exiting. If not, you could probably either downgrade to an older version and then upgrade again or reinstall it from the 3dsx version.

I'm utilizing this software on GW 11.1.0-34U, installed as .CIA via TitleManager.

Opening it and navigating into 'Titles' results in a hard lock of the system after the list populates with just over a page of titles.

Edit: After several attempts, it seems to simply freeze at random in the other menus. Sometimes right away, sometimes after loading a fair amount of the menu. It froze on the titledb option, as well as several other places.

I can't install Homebrew CIAs from Title DB using the 3dsx version of FBI from the new HB menu with Rosalina hidden behind Health and Safety...I get an error saying: Failed to initiate Installation Result Code: 0xD963F805 Level: Permanent (27) Sumary: Internal (11) Module: Application (254) Desc: Thread Creation failed (5)...

I'm having the same issue too... most of the time on my O3DS but sometime on my N3DS also. Probably a memory-related issue since FreeShop (and other homebrew apps) work flawlessly.
