I shouldn't say this.. but dammit.. @MasterFeizz your progress is pretty fucking awesome!
1) no reason you shouldn't
2) this is a massive compliment from someone that's already ported several cores to retroarch 3ds and figured out the sole reason its multiplayer wasn't working, and then fixed it

Having some teething troubles

Using a New 3DS xl running the very latest Luma, have the latest release of Daedalusx64

Emulator load up to rom selector, press A on a rom and just hangs then until I hard power off

I've tried USA and EU roms, tried both .n64 and .z64 extension roms

I've tried running from the cia and also through HBL using the .3dsx file

Any pointers as to what I could be doing wrong ?

TIA

You're missing the DSP dump.
Please dump it using DSP1.

I made a save converter to convert your typical project64 save files to/from daedalus. It should work both ways, but I haven't tested too many save files. You replace the file that isn't the mpk.

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE WONDERING IF THIS WORKS ON AN O3DS/O2DS, IT DOES. Some of you were complaining that when you try to launch a rom, the application just freezes on the menu or throws you back to HB menu. I FOUND THE FIX FOR THIS. You need to DOWNLOAD THE DSP-1 DUMPER cia from this link here: https://github.com/zoogie/DSP1

Launch the application and it will say that your DSP1 has been dumped. Now, launch DaedalusX64 and open a rom. HERE IS PROOF THAT IT WORKS ON AN OLD 3DS:

Thanks, but we already have this information a few posts above yours.

Help! I have Luma3ds updated (10.1.3) and a DSP1 dump but the emulator still crashes on then ROM selector screen. I have an o3dsXL.

it is quit normal with the current build on a N3DS some games will crash / freeze in menu because of compatibility issues
