I changed all Super 3-D Noah's ark files (*.n3d) to Wolfenstein files (*.wl6) and it froze on this screen. It was worth a shot at least. I'm diging through the github files, trying to get an understanding of what's going on, and how I might add Super 3-D Noah's ark compatibility. I will update with progress.

Sorry for the huge bump, but I thought that making a thread just for what I want to say isn't worth it. Ever since Rosalina was released, ctrWolfen throws me at the Home menu after choosing the shareware or full version of the game. Is this an incompatibility problem with Rosalina?

Probably, same thing for me.

The issue is only with the launcher, not the games themselves. If you simply delete "ctrWolfen.3dsx" and "ctrWolfen.smdh" files, your "ctrWolfen" folder will appear as a normal folder, which you can then go into and select the individual apps directly. There's just one problem with that. They're all named "boot" so, kind of difficult figuring out which is which if you leave it like that.

One way you could solve the problem is making folders within the "3ds" folder named "Wolfenstein_3D" and "Spear_Of_Destiny" and copy the "wl6" and "sod" folders to them respectively. So, then you can just go into your newly created folders and select the "boot" app. It works. Sometimes they crash while loading for some reason. But I played 4 levels of Wolfenstein mission 3. So apparently they're fairly stable once loaded.

EDIT: OK. I've compiled independent copies that actually have names, so they won't all show up as "boot" now. Just put all the game files in the same folder as the .3dsx and .smdh files (make sure you don't include the old "boot.3dsx" and "boot.smdh" files if transferring from an existing copy). I managed to keep the shareware files in the release as an example, since the resulting file was under 2 MB.

Is this project dead? I would really like to see this completed. The only problems I see that need to be addressed is the sound and the fact that it usually crashes.

Last was worked on back in April 2016. I think the 3DS scene is pretty much getting buried, and the Vita scene seems to be slowing down to a crawl. Everyone is going for the Switch and PS4 now :(

darn but we know so much about the 3ds hardware now compared to 2016.... it could be finished and truly great!

Yeah, there are so many things that I feel could be done on both Devices. At least try and see if they can be done. If not, well, at least that possibility got marked off the List of Questions of, "Can it run this?"

well quick question is there any way to use csnd:snd without it crashing? also anyone know why it crashes? (not just csnd but also when using dsp)

Anyone ever manage to get a cia working from this? I've tried converting the .3dsx file with a few tools I found such as cxitool and 3dsx to cia converter but I've had no luck.

Big thx. I've tried to get ctrWolfen working for days now on my N3DSXL, not recognizing that rosalina was the problem. Now, thx to you, it works. :yay3ds:
The only issiue i have is the crackling audio in the game. Are they any fixes for that?

Hello. I seem to have trouble getting this to work. Do the files need to be named a certain way? For example: AUDIOT.wl6, audiot.wl6, AUDIOT.WL6 or like audiot.WL6?
