This small homebrew clears the MacFilter__ file of your 3DS which allows you to circumvent the 8h cooldown for StreetPass hits. In other words this means that you can StreetPass the same 3DS again without waiting 8 hours. I know there are the dev programs CecBoxTool and CecLotCheckTool which can do the same but maybe someone prefers a hombrew version over a CIA version.

If someone wants to create a better icon feel free to do so and send it to me.
Source code is included in the zip file.

Thats actually pretty cool. And thats amazing to get rid of the 8h cooldown period of streetpassing.

this makes worthwhile in a busy area where people will commune together for streetpassing but w/ the death of the central "Master" Relay server feels lil bit Moot. nice piece of 'brew though.

I'm sorry but how exactly do I download this to my 3ds? Thank you by the way

Thanks creating this! But whenever I streetpass this one girl on my bus then I use this tool to skip the cool down, but it doesn't work on her 3DS only. For additional info she has the galaxy new 3ds xl, does this only work with the old 3DS's?

No?
What gives you the idea that this would brick a console. It just clears a file on your console which the official developer software ,that is stated in my opening post, does too.

Is it possible to turn this into an app on the Home Menu, rather than having to go into the Homebrew Launcher and scroll through to find the program?

So, is it enough to run this on one 3DS, or do I need to run it to both? I mean if I want to streetpass the same 3DS again before the 8 hour wait time.

This tool is amazing, it fixed the problems I had between my O3DS and my N3DSXL since I changed the battery of my O3DS twice and they didn't wanted to connect since.

Im still not able to connect to streetpass even though Ive installed it correctly and the mac filter has been cleared on both the consoles😓

Next time you have a question like this, you should probably put it in the 3DS NOOB PARADISE thread rather than bumping something from two years ago.

Also, this is is vague. What did you try to install? What do you think "connect to streetpass" means? You realize StreetPass is something that happens between two different units, right..?

If you're referring to NetPass, then that is something totally different.
