In the latest FBI, go to the Titles menu, select the game, and select the Seed option

So, is that GUI still being worked on? Cause with freeshop this seems like a weird place for CIAngel to be... Just wanna understand what's next, or do things still need to settle down to be sure?

Yup I'm still working on it, albeit a bit slower the last few weeks. What I'm doing also isn't really a gui, just an upgrade right now so that certain characters display correctly. 90% of text is probably "upgraded" right now, but due to the difference in the nature the way the screen is drawn, the download install progression screens are causing me a little bit of trouble, nothing major, but the fix right now is a bit hacky and I've mulling over better ways

Anyway, I'm pushing updates regularly to the pr on master, so feel free to build and try it yourself, but If it ever gets merged in it's current state, I see it as a stepping stone to a real gui, not an end goal.

And in the meantime, if you prefer FreeShop, well...you prefer FreeShop

btw, if anyone knows of some good 16x16 icons for game/dlc/video, etc representation...I'm interested

Dammit, updated to lastest FBI 2.2.6 and found the import Seed option but that also fails... 1 Bloody game that wont work for me for some reason

What firmware version are you on? The seed DB was added with 9.6.0-X, so if you're on a version before that, it won't work.

(I ask because 0xD900182F is invalid command.)

Wait, your emunand is at 9.5? Yeah, that's gonna be a problem, seed keys are referred to as "9.6 crypto keys" for a reason

You will also need to make sure whatever game you're running doesn't itself require a newer firmware. Why is your emunand so out of date?

That hasn't been the case for a long time. Update it. It's fine if you're using Luma.

Edit: forgot to say that you must search by serial, and don't forget to select JPN as region

Cant find any info on what to use to update beyond 9.5 for the n3ds.. only the o3ds
