Not sure if this was bought up....but I'm currently using a o3ds xl Japanese edition ....my software is 10.5.0.30j . After several tries I'm able to load the browser hax after several tries ....the issue im coming across is whenever i try to open chmm2 it begins to load up but never moves past the red screen....I have all the files from the latest starter kit .

Starter kit version is out dated.

That's your issue :D
Boot into the Homebrew Laucher in EmuNAND, open MenuHax manager, move the cursor to Delete, then while holding X, press A, there you go. Themes will now work.
Now I remember, I dirty deleted menuhax from my emunand.
When I unlinked my nands menuhax was intact. Funny.
Thanks!
editL Pretty fine app this is. C:
Too bad some of the themes on that theme site have no audio even if they have a preview with audio. Maybe it's a corrupt bgm.bcstm file? Any way to play these to check if it actually works?

I still haven't gotten help for my issue, and I'm getting kinda ticked. I'm running an old American 3DS XL system version 10.3.0.28U running browserhax (spider28hax) to boot Homebrew. I am trying to run CHMM2 2.5 and have dumped the dspfirm.cdc via DSP Firmware Dumper which dumped it into the /3ds folder. But I am still getting the 327 error code and I have no idea why. If I have to install the .cia or setup an EmuNAND, I'll do my best, just someone help.

Not sure what error 327 is about so can't help you there. Do you want help downgrading?

The 327 error is the one where it cannot detect the sound module. And if I have to, yes, I will need major help.
Downgrading and setting up EmuNAND solely for custom themes sounds very excessive to me, but I would downgrade anyway because of all the benefits it brings.

Use this guide to downgrade, but instead of the SysUpdater linked there, use SafeSysUpdater.
Feel free to PM me if you have any questions regarding downgrading, EmuNAND and CFW etc.

I cannot thank you enough. As soon as I get access to a computer with an SD card slot, I will start right away. I should mention, the last time I was able to actually use a custom theme was when Tubehax still worked and I used the homedata extdata program.

Edit: I just upgraded to 10.5.0-30U. Don't know why, seeing as I'll be attempting to downgrade, but I was tired of seeing the message pop up.

On 3DSX build, you don't need to dump the DSP firmware cause payload contains it. Maybe you're running an old version of browserhax?

I just downloaded browserhax last week, and it hasn't been updated since then.

This is a REALLY strange issue. Try to add this file in the same folder of CHMM. (Be sure this file and the 3dsx ones have the same name)

Alright thank you Rinne, I shall try as soon as I get access to a computer with an SD card reader.

EDIT: I reread your post, and decided I was an idiot.
