It's really great, I've been waiting for shuffle feature, just one issue
BGM only plays once, happens to all my themes

2) It seems some themes without BGM.bcstm will cause audio issues (like themes with no sound or themes with wrong sounds). This is not CHMM2 fault but wrong body_LZ.bin creation by theme makers. I would ask to @exelix11 to make BGM.bcstm usage hardcoded to OFF if no BGM.bcstm is provided to YATA+. That could fix this bug which afflicted also CHMM.

Best have a word with Nintendo then, it's obviously their fault, because the themes that had the background music suddenly stop for me were official nintendo themes.

I'm having this same problem. I tried the solution, and at first everything was working fine, but now the music is back to stopping like it was before. Why is this?

I ended up just ditching CHMM2 and going back to the original CHMM, as it continued to halt background music whenever I reinstalled it. And it also caused some crashes when entering friend list and notifications... Following ihaveamac's instructions (and deleting the cfg file from the theme directory) but not reloading the saved home layout, as well as fully uninstalling the cia, fixed all the problems... reinstalling it reintroduced them.

Hello. I have a problem with chmm2. The icon of my theme and the file bgm does not bustle. My file 3 ds = > theme = > name of theme = > bgm, sdmh, body . I made an error or I have to return on chmm?

Are you trying to say your theme does not appear?

Yes. The icone (sdmh) doesn't appear when i open chmm2 for select my theme. And when i install the theme on my ds the sound(bgm.bctsm) dont work.

How do I get it to show up on the homebrew channel? You're just supposed to put the CHMM2 Master file in the 3DS file right? So why isn't it showing up?

Download it from the mirror link on the op. Go to the root of your 3ds sd card and open the 3ds folder. Inside the 3ds folder create a new folder and name it CHMM2 and open it. Extract the CHMM2.3dsx and the CHMM2.smdh files from the zip you downloaded and put them inside the CHMM2 folder you created. Put the sd back on the 3ds and run the hombrew launcher.

ok good...that file was huge and hogging all the space on my SD card lol

If there's no preview, does that mean a theme doesn't work at all?

Sorry to add to my post again, but why won't it shuffle? I turn on shuffle mode and exit it, but it never stays in shuffle mode. Why won't it shuffle when I hit start and then exit out of homebrew??? Or rather when i open and close my DS. Grrr. Should I try the 3ds file instead of 3dsx?

The preview file is a separate file preview.png. If that's not there you'll get no preview but the theme will still work.
You have to close the lid then wait for the 3ds to sleep before it will shuffle. It's about 5 seconds I think. Also, make sure you press x again after choosing the themes because that's when it saves. It takes a little while, wait for it to finish.

How do I choose one in more than just the first box on the top screen? I hit B again but it just replaces the first box.

L and R scroll the top screen. These controls are in the first post, though I guess it could be worded clearer.

Grrr I loaded the themes into the shuffler squares and hit X to save. But when I turn shuffle mode back on, it was empty. And now there's no theme on my home screen! What's the problem now?
