Okay, I have a few small questions, and yes, I did read through the posts, but may have missed the answer, so am asking foir a bit of clarification.
I am running a 9.2 N3DS U with rxTools emu on 9.5 and wish to install custom shuffle themes on my emuNAND. I am also using coldboot via BootCTR, meaning I renamed my homebrew boot.3dsx to something else, and am using the bootctr's boot.3dsx via themehax on my unlinked sysNAND.
Now for my question, now that you know a bit about my setup. To get the custom themes on my emuNAND, I assume I would need to run the cia version of CHMM2 and install it to my emuNAND then run it, correct? After reading the OP, it appears that for this method, I would need the dspfirm.cdc file. I have Decrypt9, as well as downloaded the DSP Firmware Dumper homebrew, but rather than begin throwing homebrew around and running things, then messing up stuff, I wish to clarify. I read that the DSP Dumper dumps the dspfirm.cdc from the payload, so I am assuming the original boot.3dsx? If so, would my setup create some issues, as I have renamed the boot.3dsx to use bootctr? If I can use Decrypt9, what is the method? I read that I must use a retail cartridge, but what options do I use? I don't wish to create 5 million junk files by decrypting the wrong thing and making a mess of my SD card that I will then have to sort, will choosing the correct option make a mess? Create a folder with the dump? Extract only the dspfirm.cdc?
And finally, I keep hearing that once the dspfirm.cdc is obtained, users have said that it needs to be in the root of the /3ds folder, is that correct, or is the root of the sd card sufficient? I reiterate that I will be using the cia from my emuNAND, and just want to confirm the placement of the file, should my other questions be answered and I attain the file.
I apologize for the load of questions, I just wish to do this correctly, efficiently, and not make a mess of things.
Thank you very much for any help on this matter, as well as MANY thanks for creating such a great app!
