yes. What do I do after that?
Click extract here to extract it. Then put that folder in the 3ds folder of your sd card.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Doublecheck if folder and 3dsx have the same name.
I'm also having trouble extracting it. Do i click extract here of extract in a folder?

Ok I did that. Whats next?

CHMM 2.5 shows up but gives me this error: Error: [string "?"]:327: cannot initialize Sound module.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

homebrew wont open. It says error please restart the system.
How are you launching homebrew (menuhax, ninjhax, browserhax) also what FW are you on?

Also I followed operationidriods tutorial

I see. I am on FW 9.2.0-20u and using browserhax. I am also having problems. The dsp firware dumper seemed to work fine for me, but CHMM2.5 wont load for me. So I am also stuck. :( my advice is to keep trying or use browserhax.

I get this error: "Error: [string "?"]:441: bad argument #3 to 'drawScaleimage' (number expected, got nil)"
Press A to restart
...

What could it be? I got the dump it asks for (on the root directory) and double checked to see if I have menuhax on emunand (deleted).
So... can somebody help me? The dpsfirm is on the 3ds folder.

I'm getting the same error. CHMM2.5 was working for me (with menuhax) earlier today. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling CHMM2.5 and menuhax, but no luck.

i understand we can't really use the 3ds' theme changer with this, or the shuffle option in the theme changer.

but, how about a .3dsx homebrew that shuffles the theme for you, incorporated into a hax launcher...
what i would love is, i turn on my 3ds, and instead of running rxtools.3dsx or whatever, i run a homebrew which shuffles my theme and then loads the .3dsx of my choice.

so like forwarder to rxtools, or gw, or reinand.
and each time i run it, it shuffles my theme :)

i think it sounds cool, what about you guys?

I am getting same error, CIA on 9.5 emunand, N3DS europe. Last build I could not also initialize but had different error.

Okay, I have a few small questions, and yes, I did read through the posts, but may have missed the answer, so am asking foir a bit of clarification.

I am running a 9.2 N3DS U with rxTools emu on 9.5 and wish to install custom shuffle themes on my emuNAND. I am also using coldboot via BootCTR, meaning I renamed my homebrew boot.3dsx to something else, and am using the bootctr's boot.3dsx via themehax on my unlinked sysNAND.

Now for my question, now that you know a bit about my setup. To get the custom themes on my emuNAND, I assume I would need to run the cia version of CHMM2 and install it to my emuNAND then run it, correct? After reading the OP, it appears that for this method, I would need the dspfirm.cdc file. I have Decrypt9, as well as downloaded the DSP Firmware Dumper homebrew, but rather than begin throwing homebrew around and running things, then messing up stuff, I wish to clarify. I read that the DSP Dumper dumps the dspfirm.cdc from the payload, so I am assuming the original boot.3dsx? If so, would my setup create some issues, as I have renamed the boot.3dsx to use bootctr? If I can use Decrypt9, what is the method? I read that I must use a retail cartridge, but what options do I use? I don't wish to create 5 million junk files by decrypting the wrong thing and making a mess of my SD card that I will then have to sort, will choosing the correct option make a mess? Create a folder with the dump? Extract only the dspfirm.cdc?

And finally, I keep hearing that once the dspfirm.cdc is obtained, users have said that it needs to be in the root of the /3ds folder, is that correct, or is the root of the sd card sufficient? I reiterate that I will be using the cia from my emuNAND, and just want to confirm the placement of the file, should my other questions be answered and I attain the file.

I apologize for the load of questions, I just wish to do this correctly, efficiently, and not make a mess of things.

Thank you very much for any help on this matter, as well as MANY thanks for creating such a great app!
