Correction: a single emulator is better than 2, both developpers can work on it and produce faster updates.[emoji14]2 emulators better than one, you can use both.
I would suggest overclocking if you had i5 3570k ...
There are 2 choices for you :
_Wait and hope Cemu could be faster in the future
_Upgrade your CPU to sth like i5 6600k and overclock it to 4.4GHz but you will have to replace your mobo and Ram
Don't know much about Cemu but Haswell is 30% faster than Ivy Bridge in Dolphin Benchmark (Dolphin is Wii Emu) and Skylake is 10% faster than Haswell
I don't understand why there is so much hostility between Cemu and Decaf. Choose your favourite emulator (or also both), follow their developments and shut up. Here you have to reports bugs, improvements and say thanks to the developer if you are satisfied. That's all.
Indeed Cemu has made tremendous progress, but please don't perpetuate falsities. Read https://www.reddit.com/r/emulation/comments/4xngz3/please_ensure_you_arent_spreading_misinformation/Who cares if Decaf is getting better? Decaf is much older than Cemu, yet Cemu is still better. :/

Right.....Well, I can say that Cemu and Decaf both started around the same time.
Well, I can say that Cemu and Decaf both started around the same time.
I know Exzap started working on Cemu since 2013, but he himself said there was no progress back then and Cemu started to progress when the Common key was leaked.
That may mean that when Cemu wasn't progressing, Decaf was.
Feel free to correct me.
I don't know.Nah, he's talking about micro stutters. He probably means the shader cache stutters and no matter how highend your PC is, they will still be there. For now, the only thing you can do to not get them is playing a level/track for a second time...
I don't know.
There's SHADER stutters - nothing will fix except playing for now (c'mon dolphin-like async shader cache!)
Then there's MICRO stutters which seem like they will never go away without maybe more power/cemu fix. Every 5 secs or so, there's just a tiny hiccup is how I would describe it. These are present for my on MK8, even after playing the track 9 times and I avg. 60 fps. THIS is what I'd like more info on/resolved.
a few tips:it seems i had forgotten to put in my nvidia control options to prefer maximum performance. It was still using intel gpu. I would still like to know about any tips and tricks for more speed or ANYTHING else with this emulator if you guys wouldnt mind?
the more you play, the better it becomes. just make sure all the cache and buffer options are selected.I notice that the games when i play them say 30 or 60 fps but the video is very choppy like start stop start stop
