Got the US-Version? Maybe you forgot to copy the right key(s) into "keys.txt".
The European version doesn't work atm and crashes after the boot-screen!

I have the EUR version and it works just fine in 1.4.1

I think you have AMD GPU(for some AMD users MK8 crashes at loading screen with version 1.4.1).
try 1.4.0c if that works or wait for 1.4.2.
