Okay, I know this is a really stupid question, but how to do you get back to the configuration menu? Every time I open the Cake app from homebrew it auto boots into the CFW. I Used to want that but now I only want to manually boot into it. Help?

How to use:

• Autoboot: This will skip the menu when cakes starts, and automatically load the CFW (way faster than usual). Hold the "L" button while booting to enter the menu.

Sorry about the big disclaimer in the OP, but I'm a bit pissed with the huge amount of people lately who can't read (seriously, look back these last 4 pages. I also had one guy PM me about how to install it, instead of trying to look for it himself).
Will probably take it off when I'm in a better mood.

So Cakes is in my tutorial as well now.
Is there any really practical difference to Reinand? Like Reinand using 9.6 firm and cakes 10.2 - thus newer titles running without fw spoof/Cryptofix?

Personally I like having the option of a nice clean and professional boot menu. Sure autoboot will be used 90% of the time once I have my options configured, but it's still nice to know it's there. The more power for configuration the better.

I need help!

I have a N3DS in 9.0 firmware.

I created a new EmuNand with 9.7 gateway in order to update it to 10.3 (or 10.4 now)

I have menuhax with ctrbootmanager set up to start cakefw.

When I do, after enable emunand i try to boot CFW but it gets me back to menu hax looping until it crash.

Anyone sharing this problem? Any possible solutions? Thank you.

@mid-kid: Just as a heads up, 10.4 updated NATIVE_FIRM for N3DS (didn't look for O3DS), so trying to use the encrypted firmware.bin from it (0000001F instead of 0000001B now) won't work. We'll need new offsets.

For others: No, this doesn't mean emuNAND is broken, just that Cakes is stuck on 2.50-9 like Reinand for a little while.

No, it's safe to update, you just can't use the bleeding-edge NATIVE_FIRM yet (which is what Cakes tries to do as far as I understand). It changes nothing for the end-user.

Should be fine, but like everything else, it never hurts to make a backup.

O3ds has been stuck on 9.6 NATIVE_FIRM for a while, and I don't plan on updating unless some features don't work otherwise, or someone else'd like to do it.

Didn't know that. I guess the weird demo incompatibilities from not using the 10.2 kernel were on N3DS only? I read some posts saying that certain demos weren't working without it. I should try to dig them up in the Reinand thread again..

Well i have read the OP 10 times and the whole thread 10 times but i can't find my answer :/
So i installed Cakes on my Coffee machine (you know Cakes and Coffee is a great combination), but still when i power it on, it gives me only hot water instead of Coffee?
Anyway you can fix that soon?

Note: I updated my Dolce Gusto to 10.3 and downgraded it to 9.2 so it should run Nespresso capsules, maybe something got wrong with the downgrade, but Cakes installed just fine
I did it the correct way, put Cakes on a plate, slice it in pieces, and put it near my cup of coffee and ate it and drank my beer!
