Hacking Official [Release] CakesFW

I'm having trouble playing Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate on my o3ds with cakes. Running fine in rxtools. When ran, the game goes the usual black after the 3ds logo and then i got a bottom black "an error as occurred please power off the system" screen of death. Is this known? If so there's any workaround?
The cia is correct because is working with my n3ds, with rxtools o3ds and is a backup of my original cart.

No, I have disabled them because it lowered very much the boot rate. I'll try to enable them again, then.

I have a problem that's very weird to me.

I switched from Gateway in order to play the translated FE:if Invisible Kingdom DLC (Gateway would not allow me to install the DLC, as it gave an Invalid CIA error)
I got CakesFW working and booted into Emunand.

Once into emunand, the theme song cuts out after a few seconds, and if you move/select another tile, Emunand freezes. Once it even just flat out gave me a black screen after booting into emunand.

EDIT: Opening a folder freezes Emunand, and since it booted up on a tile I selected in a folder, it kept freezing.
Now I'm not booting within a folder and it loads a few titles. The song stops after selecting another title and upon selecting a title, an error occurs and I have to power down my 3ds.

What's going on?
Do I need to format Emunand? Use the search function more often?

No. The only option available to 8.1J users is Gateway.

Ok so I think i installed cakes CFW now? now i boot via cakescFW into emunand.. and my installed games/apps say cannot be started.. redownload in shop wtf??

Also not sure what rop I need to install?

I am 9.0 gateway new3ds user.

I picked
4.x NDG cakes.dat (4th option)

4.x DG (2nd option same error as 3rd option)
4x (1st option same error as the rest..)

6.x gives me software was forced to close after nds profile (3th option)
6.x rop custom gives error file may be missing. (7th opton)
Same for all that say rop custom. so appearently I should use cakes.dat options..

It sounds like you have to Disable Signatures in the configuration menu.

How do I get back to the configuration menu? Every time I boot it back up, it loads immediately back up to the home menu.

If you have autoboot on, you can hold L when you load into CakesFW. This will take you to the menu.

Sorry, I meant the only CFW option for 8.1J was Gateway.

Now that we can downgrade from from the latest firmware, the best course of action for 8.1J users is, to update to 10.3 via system settings, then downgrade to 9.2.

If you read the text of the link, it clearly says: "firmware.bin and cetk download urls". One is clearly the cetk, so guess what the other is?
If you read the instructions, you know what you may need them for.

Being able to launch unsigned content is probably the biggest give away.

But I'd suggest creating a folder with an E for emuNAND. Alternatively you can use a different theme to your sysNAND.

I downgraded my firmware to 4.5 today, now Im tryin to install CakeCFW and did all steps (including placing the right files in the right place of my SD Card), but as I typed in http://dukesrg.no-ip.org/3ds/cakes?Cakes.dat in the browser (manually and saving as favorite), the browser trys to load Cake.dat but instead of launching the CFW I just got back to the home menu telling me, the software Im currently using isnt working (the normal error message when you did anything wrong lel).

I tried the latest version, should I get an older version instead?

I mean, I just wanna launch a japanese game regionfree and being able to patch it... cant be that hard but Im working for hours now. If you have any other solutions, that wont cost anything, Im free to try anything, lel.

Thank you! I forgot that i had The Legend of Zelda 4 Swords installed on nand.... the disable signatures worked, on my downgraded o3ds.

Can someone help me? when i run cakesfw with emunand enabled, the keyX failed to load? if i disable the emunand cakesfw runs fine.
