WARNING!!!

If you activate the infintive Bells cheat AND faint after that, your save game gets corrupted. Trust me. I learned that the hard way...

I've never had any issues with that.
Did you attempt to alter your bell amount to a value that it shouldn't be?
You should always backup your save file(s) before using this plugin, because for some people, save glitching is common!

I had a backup and everything is back to normal now. Also I did it online. I had the faint cheat on to mess with the other players on the island. After I activated the infinitive bells cheat the game crashed. When I opened it again it told me that my save data is corrupted.

It will work upto v3.3 of the plugin, it still needs to be updated to work with v4.0

Using the 4.0 beta 3 seems to not let me use an older version of the plugin at the same time (the one that lets me plant trees and bushes in friend's towns). Is this just me or was it intentional? If intentional I'll just downgrade back to beta 2.

Ah, that's because there isn't enough memory for the other plugin and CTRPF is prioritised before the other plugin.

As I've stated from beta 1, don't use other plugins with 4.0. As @Slattz said, it uses too much memory. But using this much memory might lead to corruption, bricked saves or just break 4.0's usability.

I wouldn't completely trust any plugin that you download outside of what I release. A plugin is compiled code. And with code, the code can be malware. If the source is open, look through it yourself to make sure it checks out, or ask a Dev to.
