Yes I do exactly what you say but I use this version of BootNTR https://github.com/astronautlevel2/BootNTR/releases/tag/3.4
I read somewhere that the 3.3 doesnt work for my Emu 11.1 but i will try, thanks.

that's weird. I still haven't managed to get mine to not hang. I launch bootNTR Selector upon turning on the system and itll freeze now being on 11.1. it didn't freeze upon using it on 11.0. but it did hang upon launching the game. and ive launched it immediately after the bootNTR got done flashing blue. that was when I had the 11.0 so now I'm trying to figure out still what is the problem?? its on a new real sd card. ive checked that. firmware isn't franken that ive been told. so idk anymore what to do. this is really frustrating.

are you sure you're using the latest NTR selector found here? https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-bootntr-selector.432911/ it should be the one with the nice UI, and when you launch it, immediately press A and it'll launch NTR 3.3, and exit to home and you immediately launch Animal Crossing.

are you sure you're using the latest NTR selector found here? https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-bootntr-selector.432911/ it should be the one with the nice UI, and when you launch it, immediately press A and it'll launch NTR 3.3, and exit to home and you immediately launch Animal Crossing.

my husband @KamiNoRyu619 got it working for me. its a great lil thing to boot. I even got the bootNTR 3.4 loader to boot properly and launched game. everything works fine. tyvm for all the help you and @Nanquitas have put into helping me solve this. we were both having a lot of fun so much so we stayed up way to late. lol. lucky none of us had to work today.

basically the way we were loading it. she told me that ya had to load bootNTR selector upon turning on the system. and after several times of practicing to use it i got it to work. i found out that the bootNTR loader she has on this hacked 3ds which has 3.4 ntr wasn't ever having a problem no matter when i loaded it. so i showed her and the rest is history. seeing her smile makes it worth the trouble i went through. XD

Try NTR 3.3, and make sure you use Nanquita's bootNTR selector, as it just got a major update
