I added a BCSTM download option to Brawl Custom Music. So far it'll only work over songs that are 2 channels natively.
Here the result:
Custom Music in MK7
What did you use to repack audio into a proper format? And did you edit the bcsar to play the audio correctly?
soneek has an automatic online converter on the brawlcustommusic website and well, unlike Mario Kart Wii, you don't need to edit the bcsar to get the loop points right, the new problem is that the beat needs to get modified. It is almost not noticeable in the record, but yeah, it's all out of synch.
It's not really a "converter." I just rebuild the headers of existing brstms to have a bcstm header. I added the vgmstream support so I'm pretty familiar with the header. I haven't looked at the tempo setter for the frontrun beat in MK7 yet, though it's on my to-do list with bcsar research.
The bad part is that changing a course is no longer as easy as just replacing the szs file![]()
Oh really? You tried swapping a course, and it crashes?

Gonna post a .ppf later tonight that replaces (all possible) ORAS demo's music with original RSE music.
Okay, this is a huge file, but if anyone wants it: http://www.mediafire.com/?pjjupka799usmb9
Use it on the BBB dump of the demo.
Changes:
-All possible ORAS music is replaced with RSE music.
-I nerfed the 120x120 pokedex sprites to save space because the RSE music is big. Should have no gameplay impact.
-I also nerfed some x/y exclusive trainer sprites (see: successor korrina/other postgame trainers) for the same reason. Should have no gameplay impact.

Here the result:
Custom Music in MK7
Warning: terrible audio quality (not direct feed) (I need to get myself some cables)
We as dshack did it before. (see a video on MKGirlism youtube channel) Using EFE to convert from wav to bcstm.
MK8 music in MK7 anyone?
Gericom has been documenting MK7 for a while for himself, but he is yet to release his program.

MK8 music in MK7 anyone?
Do you guys have your findings documented anywhere for MK7 related stuff?
