Action replay / Code breaker . type I should have mention .

I get you're point, but I edited my post on page 68 just be four you posted .

My 3DS xl firmware is beyond GW sadly got updated by mistake , so will need to look out for other 3DS .

Just anyone else who knows, but as in my edited post mention that , A program would be useless with RAM search because a game will need to be running, still file will be no good.

easiest method would be just directly editing the rom and recompiling, for ram mods etc we would either need gateway to allow ram modifications with is fairly unlikely, or some sort of ram modifier that loads up alongside the rom (sort of like the GTA psp cheat tools)

I heard that thing was fun. Whenever I tried to run it, though, it would just end up crashing my PSP within a few minutes of having the game running.

I was like 12 then, so I probably did something wrong. :P

Yep you both got what I had in mind ^ No1 .

Maybe the program er of this program could work on some think like this, to edit AR cheats into the game it self , small program maybe .

And yes would take some time.

But take you're points,
It would be pretty tough to find exact sections of the ram every time the game starts, as specific data is usually stored in completely different locations on every reset. If you wanted a ram editor for cheating, you'd need some type of program that works like Cheat Engine. Scan for a value, change it in game, scan for the new value.

Same with NDS games, But 3DS games taking Gig bites in size, lots of locations to look 4

Anyway let's see what others think...

------------

Is the original cart/game data decrypted anyway ? .

iirc the 3ds only has 128MB ram and running games dont get all of that even, so a simple ram modifier would be feasible....actually im pretty sure smealum already did some ram editing to hack pokemon ages ago when he revealed hoopa and volcanion

yeah the cheat tool for GTA was pretty amazing, not just a simple inf health etc, it could pretty much be used as a rough around the edges map creator (out of random objects)....which was awesome

Yes sorry, forgot to brake the game down a bit ROM/RAM est est, getting a little rusty xd .

!lol GTA was grate in it's day yep cheat where grate also ;) , shame was no release 4 3DS , English titles are really getting sloppy for UK market next to non.

reason I was looking on cheat's AR codes , I'm playing resident evil revelations 3DS original cart , got all S ranking's on Raid mood , just cannot get any weapon over LV 48 , only one magnum at lv 50 but 2 slots .

Finding them is like winning the lottery xd!, Many one day they will come up with some sort of cheat system are program , maybe file to add to SD card to send to original cart only ....

Pokemon sorry not really my type, but I'm RPG fan / Zelda , Bravely default est .

Heads up for anyone wanting to upload silly pictures to Miiverse:

The "Pokemon Art Academy" community opened up yesterday. It's the first community to allow users to upload custom images that have been drawn themselves. Fortunately, I think it'll be a bit tough for Nintendo to distinguish legitimately drawn images from pre-rendered images. ;)

The TitleID is "00040000000D0A00", and the serial number is "CTR-BPCE". Try not to upload anything too inappropriate, and have fun. I know I am!

Are there any good tutorials how to decrypt 3ds games and re-encrypt them? Im interested in changing Mario Kart 7 models ^^

EDIT: Here's an example. I think I've found my safe haven.
I think your safe haven has been discovered ...... You do realize they are probably keeping an eye on your account or atleast some wanna be admin is being a jobsworth and stalking you now to report anything you post

Yeah, I think I'm done with it. Some tard must have followed me and is just reporting each of my posts. I've opened a dispute thing with the admins, hopefully they'll stop this from happening to all of my posts.

Well tbh I did say when I shared how to do it not to go overboard and not to draw attention to yourself, I'm sure posting links here isn't the best idea either

Huh, so the Decryptor stopped working for me for some reason. I generated the xorpads for two games just fine but now it only stops at "3DS CTR DDECRYPTOR.... Opening sd:/nnchinfo.bin ...". I already tried shutdown and re-run for like 10 times and just can't get it to work anymore. Suggestions? I even tried it with one of the ncchinfo.bin's I've successfully generated the xorpads for.

e: Nvm, it did work finally. Hm, so I tried to rebuild my unmodified RomFS with makerom and obviously running the ROM resulted in a blackscreen. Now I generated the xorpads for the ROM with the RomFS rebuildt from scratch and the "decrypted" file is just random jibberish as oppossed to what a decrypted romfs.bin should look like. Guess I'll just have to wait until there is some public guide for this...

The rebuildt ROM using the original decrypted romfs.bin from the game itself works tho, so it's something I guess.

Try reseating the SD card a few times while powered off. SD card, as opposed to microSD. Worked for me.

Actually I think it's just that the code execution isn't stable... there's a high probability of crashes. You just got to try again until everything works right.

What game were you trying to rebuild? I can successfully modify and rebuild CARD1 games but I can't rebuild my Pokemon Y with a unmodified RomFS. The people who have successfully rebuilt and modified Pokemon are re-XORing the Rom with the original XORpad and fixing the hashes but there is no public method available to do this yet.

Resident Evil Mercenaries 3D, so a CARD1 game I think.
