Most 3DS games can play music properly even the loop start point is not divisible by 14336, but not all.

:p1ng:What's this?

This is a simple calculator that supports your music hack life.
This tiny program calculates approximate value divisible by 14336 from any sample value !!
Are you happy? I am very happy.:D

:p1ng:Who shold use this?
People who making looping music from non-looping music.
People who wants to change the sampling rate of existing music.
And...

Why did I made this?
Because when I hacked music of Kid Icarus: Uprising for the first time, it did not work properly.
After trial and error, I remembered the word "divisible by 14336" and did music hack successfully.
Initially I created a calculation tool with Excel, but it looks bad and there were functional restrictions.
As a result, 14336 was born.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
