Homebrew reinstalling homebrew

my sd card no longer works and i no longer have the files on it. Is it safe to redo the whole process with a new sd card as i still have all the files to home brew my 3ds

it safe to redo the whole process
No need of that at all! Just:
  • (Re)format the SD/microSD card on FAT32, as said here.
  • Download the latest Luma version from here and extract both the boot.firm and boot.3dsx files to the root of the card
  • Finally, perform this guide entirely.
