I recently got hold of a cheap PSP 1000 to repair and restore for my Dad.
Done most of the work, but looking at the firmware it's running 5.00 M33-4. So at the moment it can't run any game I chuck at it.
So I reckon an upgrade to 6.60 Pro-B10 would be appropriate. But it boots straight into 5.00 M33-4. So if I upgrade the firmware to OFW 6.60 ready to run Pro-B10, I get the feeling I'll brick it, because the CIPL flash its currently got to boot it into 5.00 wont boot it into 6.60.
Is the only way to sort this one out via Pandora? Or if I upgrade it to 6.60, then run the Pro-B10 and CIPL flasher straight away will it work ok?
Or am I overthinking this ?
