Alright, so I've been looking around for an answer for a little while, and can't quite find one. I was curious if there is anyway to overwrite a counterfeit/bootleg/fake GBA game with another rom using a DS? This is just an idea, but It'd be really cool to see this work.

I'm not sure by using the DS, but there is a product that can reflash some bootleg carts

Please msg with link to said product. I have been interested in this for a while as my friend has a fake pokemon red that has broken save functionality and I want to recycle the cart somehow

Oh look it says it works with GB Camera!

Sooooooo... ...anybody actually tried it with the DS? I mean in theory, it might could work.
Well, there is no software, you cannot throw hardware at other hardware and expect it to do what you want

For the most part, no. But maybe, just maybe, someone will make something like Rudolph's GBA Save Manager, but with ROMS. We can only hope. Or maybe ask really nicely.

My EZFAs are flashed by hooking up a special USB cable to the GBAs. Would be cool if they developed a cheap solution for those who own a GBA and want to flash without needing another device. The downside is the speed, its slow as hell.

I don't know of any ds application that can do that currently. The closest thing to it would likely be gbaldr https://gbatemp.net/threads/gbaldr-help.53532/ which could flash certain gba flash cards.
I actually JUST tried that, unfortunately it simply says something like "unrecognized cart" maybe if we could just modify it to make it think there's a real flashcart in the GBA slot, we could get by. Any help with this would be appreciated, as I have absolutely no idea how I would get this to work.
