Hi! I am posting this to get feedback on what to do with my console. It has been working fine with CFW since my friend modded it for me. But today I had it on while it was charging and then when I tried to open it up to play it, the screen froze, so I held the power button until the system forced itself to turn off. Now when I try to turn it on the blue power light comes on but shows a red notification light (on the hinge where streetpass normally lights up) and then after a few seconds it shuts off. I have already tried replacing the boot.firm file with the newest one from Luma. I don't know what could have caused the issue as my console was working fine before. The only thing I could think of was that I downloaded the newest version of Luma yesterday using Universal Updater because I saw there was a new release. If there are any fixes for this that anyone knows about please let me know.

Does anything different happen if you turn it on without an SD card inserted?
I did try to turn it on without the SD card, but when removing it I get a magenta notification light on the hinge instead of a red one, and then it turns off again

You mentioned replacing boot.firm but I just want to make sure: https://3ds.hacks.guide/troubleshooting-post-install.html
Thank you for checking. I have tried multiple times to replace the boot.firm file with the newest update of Luma just like the guide says, but each time I still get the same result.

That is expected, as per the link above.

Can you boot your 3DS into Godmode9? What happens when you hold Start while booting your 3DS?

No. I have been trying to access Godmode9 or luma but holding start or select when pressing the power button doesn't do anything different. The red light comes on and then goes off
