Not quite finding a thread with the information I'm looking for. I'm not really looking to fix this WiiU, but for background, haven't used it in a long time, it was on version 5.5.2 and I went to upgrade it to 5.5.6 and it encountered an "Error 162-4065" when the update was nearly completed. Now when I boot it up, it prompts to update and then just freezes regardless of what I choose from that menu.
From digging through forum posts, it seems there are a few possible reasons for this, and some of the fixes would wipe the memory. Ultimately, the thing I want most from my WiiU is to recover the save files because I was primarily hoping to continue a game or two. Given that I can't really boot to the main menu, is there a way to pull those save files off the WiiU?
