Recording sound from a game

Okay, so I got Fraps and that records the video from the game, but I can't get it to record sound. Is there any way to record the sound?

EDIT: Also, geez, the file size for a few seconds of a tiny video is huge. Does it record at uncompressed?

Would it have anything to do with your video card?

Does your soundcard support "What U Hear" or Stereo Mix?

Maybe only a registered version can do sound

yes uncompressed

edit: no sound, never mind, this is another instance where a male to male 3.5mm cable does wonders

It does it uncompressed so it doesn't slow down your game (compression on the fly @ 1280x1024, 30fps or higher = massive CPU usage)
