Hardware Recommend an SD Card Reader Replacement

Hi, I just found out that the 3DS XL that i bought from Ebay has a faulty SD Card and sending it back for replacement is a no go since I live from the UAE and I just ordered it using shop and ship. So can you guys tell me if the below link is a good replacement to buy?

The thing is they have free international shipment. If only there are 3ds parts here in this country. And SD card reader is the same for all the old console right?

Only the o3ds, n3ds/n3ds XL have easily replaceable sd slots, the o3ds xl and 2ds would require the old adapter to be desoldered and a new part soldered in

That part is for a small o3ds

Is it that hard? I know a technician who works with electronics that can help me with soldering.

Ok thanks, 1 more thing, is the link I posted on the OP fine? I mean o3DS and o3DS XL has the same sd card slot yeah?

It may, but it would also mean your friend having to unsolder the actual slott off the pcb as that little pcb is only for the small o3ds, to make his life easier get the proper part,(there may be cheaper ones, i didnt really look)

You may even be able to just grab a slot of a random sd reader or something if you dont want to spend too much
