So I downloaded Bitcoin Core as my Bitcoin wallet and I still have no idea what mining software should I download for solo-mine and I wanted to know some tips and tricks to earn more bit coins from people who already done it or not.

Basically I wanna use Bitcoin to get some quick cash since I have bills to pay and finding a job isn't leading me anywhere.

Don't tell me you bought my GPUs again.
Oh FOR FU- Don't do solo mining. You will hardly even profit. Join a good mining pool

little late on the train lad. Bitcoin mining is not profitable unless you invest 10000's of dollars into custom asics.

If you want to start getting into Bitcoin now, you started too late. It's a simple and unfortunate truth. You'll need to invest a lot of money to make even a small amount of profit, and unless you're willing to spend $1k+ on either an ASIC miner or a GPU mining rig, you're not going to get anywhere. Even pool mining isn't profitable at this stage, and it's definitely not going to get you any extra cash.

If you're interested in BTC at this point, your best bet is to just buy a bit and keep an eye on the price. Sell high, buy low. That's the only way you'll make money without having a massive mining budget.

That train left.........2-3 years ago? You would be best mining ETH (but that has dips and spikes and I wouldn't trust it). ETH is the new hip thing with the kids. And that;s whats stealing our GPUs

Even eth mining is dead, difficulty just went way up in the past few days

This is why I created the thread, I've read about pool mining but I have no idea where to start.
there are several types of crypto currencies...
bitcoin was the first and it's the "main" one, like explained above the ship has sailled years ago, if you want to mine for bitcoins you need to spend thousans of euros
ethereum is the new fad, if you have a great gaming computer i wold say why not let it run for some weeks and see if you can get something..
however personally i think this ethereum is the pokemon go or fidget spinners of bit currencies, everyone is so crazy about it so strongly, in 1-2 months it will be practically dead.
but then again... everyone thought bitcoin was bullshit and now they are expensive as hell
there are plenty other bitcurrencies however i don't know anything about them, and so far i only seen bitcoin being accepted in payments

keep in mind, it's not just the materials that you have to buy, you will raise a lot your electrical bill, it doesn't make sense to make for example 10 euros of bit currency and spend 50 in the electric bill

anyway, i had been realizing bit currencies is just a pyramid scheme,, you are mining to sell to the dozen of websites that trade theese currencies to real currencies, which they will sell to other users

Selling your body also isn't profitable.
Not to mention the shame and horrible experiences you need to live with for the rest of your life.

Just get a second job or invest in things?
Honey, I can barely get a job here let alone a second job.
I was kidding when I said I'd sell my body, I know people who did it and they felt like shit, my bf for example.
