Hello everyone. For a few months now I have been unable to open the various "issues", both mine and others, nor to post new issues, from a smartphone or tablet, via Google Chrome.
I tried with versions 8 and 10 of Android, and it always fails to open old issue threads, as if it were trying to load and failed.

If instead I try to create a new issue thread, after writing the title and text, pressing the button to create it, it fails again and nothing is sent.
I can only edit issue threads that I created, but from my personal page, and not on the page of the author of the code associated with that issue.

However, on Android 12, with a smartphone that is not mine, I can open old and new issues without difficulty, as time ago.
Are old Android versions no longer supported?
Has anyone had the same problem?
Do you know of any solutions?
Thanks.

Have you tried to update Google Chrome via Google Play?
I've got emulated Android 9 on my PC, and looks like I have an access to Issues on Chrome browser.
Without updated Google Chrome browser I couldn't do much on this system. (i.e. some apps didn't accepted account)

One thing is, I haven't updated Google Chrome for a long time, both because I'm running out of storage space on the device and because I'm afraid that problems will arise after the update. If there's no other solution, I'll have to do as suggested. Thanks.

Hey @plasturion , after the update it works, but now the browser is slower, and then it kicked me out of all the "log in" of the various sites, shit! Luckily I took note of the passwords before. Hopefully no more problems arise. Thanks again.

Android 10 and 8.0 are out of support for two and four years respectively. There are literally hundreds(!) of known vulnerabilities for these operating systems (not even talking about the closed source vendor/firmware part). Using such a device for important things (like login data) puts you at great risk.

Please use a good password manager and please backup your data, especially passwords.

The browser is the single most important program of an internet connected computer. At least in most cases.
The browser just has to be updated every single time there is a security related fix at once. Almost any browser update of a major browser contains security fixes.

You got to be joking when saying you don't update Chrome while actively using it.

I'll die of a heart attack one day reading things like this.
