So if you rebuild your Nand on fw 17(and above?)your switch will stuck after the Nintendo logo. To fix this, you can run atmosspere once. The problem is, that ofw users sometimes also need to rebuild nand. In that case it wouldn't be wise to run atmosspere because you might bring flagged for a ban in doing so. Does an alternativ fix exists, so you don't have to run atmosspere?

Might be true, might be not. How would you know?

But for the paranoid users: What patch does atmossphere apply?

Because nobody trusted reported such ban.

Dunno what you mean by "patch", but atmosphere blocks saving to NAND and sending to Nintendo servers new reports about errors and crashes, so you won't get banned for using homebrew (most of them generate tons of error reports).

With patch I mean the original question. atmossphere fixes the problem when the switch is stuck at the Nintendo logo. What exactly does atmossphere do that you are not stuck anymore?

The issue only happen if you use homebrew to reset your Switch. So ofw users would just use the official way to reset the Switch and will therefore never experience the issue and not have any need to run Atmosphere

Or at least boot once on Atmosphère 1.6.2 it takes care of the changes needed to avoid future problems.
