you could probably edit the FCRAM from the thread if you wanted to, but ill have to think of a good system for that.
Would be adorable, old 3ds has arcodes, but I forgot about skater last night and locked up my new 3ds tryign to get coins in paper mario for the bowser fight.

A good ram search/editor for cheating would be great for me to not play the repetitive parts of games.

Suggested features:
-- dsiware
-- 5.x and 6.x mset without downgrading mset (using the initial exploit from mset and the later exploits from the browser exploit)
-- No-browser O3DS exploits above 4.x (Would OOT require the browser? Is it possible to use CN in a way that doesn't require a browser?)
-- Ability to change system language in EmuNAND

It is impossible to use MSET exploits without downgrading System Settings as System Settings had DS Profile exploits patched out since 7.0. Sorry to break it to you. :P

Some of the later stages of the MSET exploit were patched, but the initial DS profile entrypoint is till there up until 7.0. I guess from there you could load gspwn or something but I doubt you can get a big enough ROP chain from there.

Not to burst your bubble or anything, but 6.x MSET support was added to rxTools 3.0b5, fully working, through firmlaunchhax already. It's O3DS only so far, sure, but it proves it's totally possible. Of course, CakesFW is the origin of the 6.x ROP chain, so not exclusive to rxTools. Either way, it means it's completely possible to port it to the N3DS as well, however unnecessary. And for the record, on N3DS as well, even the Gateway 4.x MSET uses a firmlaunchhax ROP chain. Gateway even forgot to obfuscate their initial ROP chain for it, so it's mostly there already. Else, I've personally found the 6.x MSET more stable than the 4.x variant, with more consistent boots. Perhaps it is superior to 4.x ultimately, but who knows. Definitely safer for the 2DS though, that's for sure.

Can I use an existing Gateway emunand with reinand cfw? Like just load it up with an already setup gateway emunand or will some of the games not work?

Fwiw SALT also uses 6.x MSET. Fairly stable, haven't had any problems with it personally.

Do 5.x - 6.x mset require a browser? If not, they could be useful for people who upgraded with a cart sometime in the past.

Also, I forgot about 2DS, but you're right, 6.x mset would be very useful on a 2DS, since a 2DS can't run 4.x.

wth. Are you using rxTools or CakesFW? If so what's your sysnand version and are you using 3ds or 2ds? @A600 stress test indicates that it's the other way around. mset 4.x is stabler than mset 6.x.

Any chance you could add support for the gateway style rom menu? I'd love it if I could still use the gateway card while using this

is it possible to make the reinand mset usable for 9.x o3ds like rxtools mset with cakehax?

I own one of each exploitable 2DS/3DS/3DSXL/N3DSXL, but I've been testing the new 6.x MSET on my 2DS primarily. It's running 6.0.0-12U SysNAND, for reference. 4.x MSET froze once every 5-6 boots, but 6.x MSET has never frozen, out of the 25+ boots I've done on it to rxTools 3.0b5. Sorry if that's not consistent with your other findings, ha ha.

Nah more data is always good. @A600 tested (I think on 2DS) with firm 7.2 mset 6.x/4.x. So at least we can confirm that mset 6.x on firm 6.x is stabler than when it's downgraded.

Glad I could help. I have that 2DS NAND-Modded as well, so if there's something you wanted to test on a 2DS specifically, just shoot me a PM, and I'll be happy to help out.
Another cool thing you could do would be automated sudokuhax injection, if you get the chance. That works really well for restoring ROPs, and I'm sure most of the people using CFW would benefit.
