I also don't understand the name change. like Costello said, you are a well known member and changing the username is only confusing everyone.
I find new name weird. why impersonating a pokemon now? it's a sudden change or it's a long time reflexion? It looks like you are more in a temporary roleplay phase (signing "priestess") and you could decide to change again later.

Maybe you felt the need to change after a depression?
We already know you, just be yourself, you don't need to hide behind a new role.
People change with time and that's normal, other member just adapt and see you differently without the need to change name to mark a full restart/break with your old self.

This actually isn't a new thing, it's only "new" on GBAtemp.
This is not a sudden change and has a rather long story behind everything. The title Priestess Crystal was actually thrown in there as shout out my admin tags I use on all of my facebook pages as well as my own personal facebook. Again none of this is anything new, it's just new here.

I am not going to lie, depression has held me away from GBAtemp and most of the internet, but it's not what let to the title change.
Really there's a lot more to this than just simply "changing my character." It's just something that happened off of GBAtemp and a lot in my personal life.

If it's a long time decision and not a once a year name change, that's fine.

It's only to keep some order in the community and don't confuse everyone.
(I already have difficulties when users change their avatar I'm relying on visual memory too much)

Are you out of the depression?
It can last few years for some people, and end like it started, without noticing.
