If we could flash hekate to that damn tx dongle, it'll be actual useful to pay for that thing, tbh I'd love to have a multifunctional bootloader like hekate being even more portable than just w/ a phone
Um, you know that SX OS lets you launch payloads from SD, right? Effectively making the dongle a "load whatever payload you want" accesory

I know but my point is that idgaf about their so called "os", I'd just like a nice portable custom bootloader

also leck mich

This will be fixed in v3.1.

I believe I'll have the release today.

I'm pretty sure my backup failed twice after ~70minutes into it because of the timer bug.

How safe is it to compile your repo and inject the resulting ipl.bin ?

I'm trying so hard to do a full NAND backup but it fails everytime.
I'm on 3.0.0 atm and have got two mSDs (FAT32 and exFat).
My FAT32 fails with either a bad sectors error or with "Fatal error (1) when writing to SD Card". Always at something around 43 to 46 %.
Also there's no partial.idx file at all. And everytime I retry (although some files are already present if I insert the card into my PC) it seem to start over again from the very beginning. :(
My exFat card doesn't even start to dump anything but gives me the "failed to mount sd card fatfs" error.
Don't have exFat drivers installed in Horizon if this is important. Also I formatted the card to exFat using just the explorer in Windows 10 and without changing any settings. Was that wrong?

I'm really tired as it always takes around 60 minutes to dump (on my FAT32 card) just to end up in an error and I have to start over.
Just want to dump my NAND before I can use the guide to update to 5.1 without burning fuses. :(

While I wrote my last post I was within my last try (now waiting for the update).
In case anyone's still interested to fix errors or stuff, here's the message (at 53%):
[FatFS] Error: Write - Low Level disk I/O!
Fatal error (1) when writing to SD Card
Press any key and try again...

White: Time taken: 71m 0s.

the problem was a timing bug that made it so verification fails after 70 minutes

New version v3.1 released!

The verification/read/write is fixed at last!
If you had problems with read/write/verify on eMMC or SD card, even outside of verification, make sure to try the new version!
Thanks to all the testers that helped to tackle this dreaded bug.

Check OP for more info about changes and features. For even more info, check repo's commit history!
