Gaming RB2 Instruments in GH5

Could someone here with the RB2 Instruments give them a shot in GH5, please? I still haven't seen any definitive sources for whether the drums or the guitar from Rock Band (2) work in Guitar Hero 5. If someone could test it out and let us know, that would be excellent.

For Wii, right? They don't work in GH:WT, but RB instruments DO work in GH5 for Wii, is this correct?

I tried the Wii RB1 drum and guitar and they both work in Guitar Hero 5 for the Wii. Someone else reported to have the RB2 guitar working on this forum, so there you go.

I second that the Rock Band 1 guitar and drums work beautifully. It should be noted that the "Mii Freestyle" feature (imagine Guitar Hero meets Wii Music) will NOT work with the Rock Band instruments...

Really pleased my rockband Guitar works with Gh5. Just wish i could get it to work with the other GH games

instruments confirmed working on 2 seperate USA 4.0u wiikey systems:

GH3 les paul
nyko frontman guitar
ICON wireless mic
rock band 2 drums (cymbals are forced to green and blue)

i installed the WAD for Gh5 then brick blocked the iso

I'm unable to get my Nyko Frontman working with Guitar Hero 5. It works fine with all the other games in the Guitar Hero and Rock Band series. How did you get it to work?

Just to concur with TheYamesGang, the Nyko FrontMan guitar is definitely not working for me on Guitar Hero 5.

I've tried 2 separate FrontMan guitars with 4 combinations of Wiimotes, and everything stops responding while it is plugged into the guitar.
But the Wiimote works fine in the game when it isn't connected to the guitar.

im using a brick blocked GH5 iso through the disc channel, not gamma

i usually start the game with a remote (for vocals) then add the other instruments at the main menu

Same problem here. I finally got the game to work on Configurable USB Loader using the 222, mload and 002 fix on but Nyko guitar doesn't work. This guitar works for all other RB games....could not get the game to work at all on USB Loader GX.

Anyone have any success with the Nyko guitar?
