I need some help please, I just formatted my Wii, ran the Rawk SD patcher, installed my customs, go to start up Rock Band 2, go to Solo Quickplay, and none of my customs show up I just get the default songs with 0 downloaded songs.

Try to play it in Band mode even if you play solo, it worked for me before

no, just the instrument track, these are exact same as the game they came from, except for the band animations

Hello,

First let me say a huge thank you to the developers of RawkSD, I've had a lot of success with it using your guides. I have successfully imported all desired tracks from RB1 as well as GHWT and GHSH, and I successfully have the 4GB non-SDHC fix in place. It is truly impressive what you have managed to accomplish for all of us Wii RB users. Thank you very much.

Second, I do have a question. After importing all RB1 tracks, they all work excellently. However, when importing GHWT tracks, there are, as I expected some oddities. Mainly with regard to vocals. I have FC'd a total of 33 songs on Expert for Vocals in my time playing Rock Band, so I do at least know what I'm talking about when it comes to them, but for the life of me I absolutely cannot manage the vocals on several tracks imported from World Tour. My question has 2 parts: 1) On SEVERAL imported tracks (such as Freak On A Leash, for example, I have noticed that the talkies either do not respond or respond very poorly. This normally would only be an issue with regard to FC'ng (oh well lol), but with Freak On A Leash in particular there is a LONG string of talkies during the beat-boxing portion of the song at the end which I haven't really found a way to do yet. Am I simply doing it wrong is there some fix or am I just kinda out of luck on this one? Second part, I've noticed that the "Awesome meter" goes up VERY slowly on some tracks (particularly ones where several short notes are slurred into one long note, such as Hotel California) making it seem NEAR impossible to get "Awesome's" and therefore the ability to do well or even FC the song. Again, am I doing something wrong vocally or is there some fix or am I just out of luck?

Also, I noticed that on some tracks (such as Schism) the crowd will become OVERWHELMINGLY loud lol, is there anything that can be done about this?

Any help would be appreciated, thank you in advance!

The talkies errors are going to be (read: probably) going to be fixed in the next release. If I recall it's been narrowed down to the weights.bin, which can easily be generated with Magma now. Not sure if those need Wii conversion, though. Definitely wait from a response from Aaron/mysterious Australian guy.

About the crowd, I've never encountered/heard of this error. The best solution I know of is turning the crowd down in the options.

The crowd isn't overly boisterous, it's just that the volume of the music isn't as loud as normal RB tracks (blame the original crappy GHWT audio tracks). I am looking into ways to compress/normalize it when the tracks are imported.

I read a few pages back about using PS2 guitars on wii..If this is true...f'n awesome but..
I purchased a ps2 to wii adapter from dealxtreme a few weeks ago and it does just fine.It allows me to hook up my Guitar Hero 1 guitar to the wiimote and so far I've used it on, GH3,Metallica,World Tour,GH5 and Rock Band 2 with no problems

incase anyone hasn't heard of these or is interested PS2 to Wii Adapter

This issue wasn't fixed in the ne'sw buld of rawkaudio.dll?
I haven't tried WT, but in GH2 & 80's the crowd sounds normal

thank you to the people who brought us this wonderful program!!!

i know you are putting alot of work into this but...

i need to know if i should have no hope in the rawksd/rawkfare being usb loader compatible. if so i need to buy a new disk drive, but if there is hope i will hold out.

Get it fixed.

Thank you everybody for your replies about the talkies & the crowd noise. I will try simply turning the crowd down in the options next time (lol I'm stupid).

I have one other question. I have looked and looked but I'm having trouble finding any good quality custom songs that actually have vocal tracks. I've found plenty that say "full band" but don't include vocals. Are there any custom vocal tracks out there? Is it even possible? If there are, could you kindly point me in the direction of some please?

Thanks again everybody for all your help!

The ones that stand out (for me) are The Hell Song and I Bet That You Look Good on the Dancefloor. There's probably many others, though.

Does anybody know if the PS2 to Wii adapter for PS2 guitars works for wireless guitars too?? Is the guitar compatible with all Rock Band, Guitar Hero and Band Hero games....as well as RawkSD?
