The RawkSD wiki has a smattering of full-band charts, many with animations. They are already in the easy-to-import .RWK format.

For a lot of fast-and-dirty customs, try http://customhero.net/ or http://fretsonfire.wikidot.com/custom-songs (free registration required). The midi chart files you can grab from both sites can be used with your own copy of the song audio (just the mp3 will work). Make a custom with the chart and song (with quickplay fix enabled) and you're ready to go.

I can't get my customs to show up on in the playlist.

I am on system menu 4.1 I did install Cios to play a burnt copy of this game but I do have a real copy of the game,and that is what I am using.
I have one customs song with Mp3 file and the midi file, and one song from Rockband 1, and both do not show up on the playlist.
Any help would be appreciated.

Did you install your customs?
What cios revisions do you have? The newer ones aren't compatible, and would need to use the legit disc.

Yes I installed it and I am using a legit copy of the game.
Like i said I did install some Cios to play a back up copy of this game but am using a legit store bought copy of this game to play customs with.

Okay I got the songs to show up on the song list in the game but when I select them it says song is out of date.
I assume this is do to the Cios. any way to unistall these so I can stil use Rawk SD

Run as Admin. It's a bug that's fixed in 3.0.

Thanks for the quick reply SFenton. I found this on another site and it worked for me:

In Win7, Change the settings for RawkSD to "Windows XP, Service Pack 2" and run as Administrator. (Find this by right clicking on "RawkSD" program and going into "Properties".

No further issues under Windows 7!!


Any word on a possible v.30 release date?

Back with a similar problem - now that I'm able to import from RB1 and GH Wii discs with the fix quoted above, I can't seem to import PS2 discs. I'm still using windows 7, and I'm running RawkSD as Admin. with the XP, Service Pack 2. Any suggestions anyone?

Update: I've tried to import this same GH2 PS2 disc with my Windows XP computer but still get the same error. I've moved back to my Windows 7 computer and my GH 80's (PS2) disc and the tracks seem to be importing without any issues. My guess is that I have a bad GH2 (PS2) disc.

Go back a few pages and you'll find the a new build of rawkaudio.dll, that fixes the most encoding errors importing GH to RB2.

Thanks zero.echelon! The new .dll file did the trick and the disc/image I thought was bad is now working. Thanks for you quick response.

If you installed cIOSCORP, then even the retail disc will give you issues. This is easily fixed by installing a fresh IOS37 wad from NUS Downloader and then run the RawkSD Patcher, or just run DOP-IOS and install+patch IOS37.

I did the thing about DOP-IOS... the installer don't work.
Just grab the IOS37 from the cIOSCORP uninstaller and install it. Then run the patcher...
Worked for me, but now I don't have CORP because the only game I play through disc is Rock Band 2 (Retail copy), and I load the other games with USBLoader GX...

Please can you upload the imports that you get using the new dll? please, this dll only works on dual core cpus, and i have a old athlon xp >.

Whenever I apply the Unlock All Songs cheat (Red, Yellow, Blue, Red, Red, Blue, Blue, Red, Yellow, Blue), the RawkSD tracks don't appear in the track list. Is there a way to fix this?

No one knows where theres a finished compilation in the event I have problems ripping eh?
And it doesnt matter which console I use a disc for right?
I have gh1 ps2, then the rest 360.
I guess Ill hold off until the hdd support, then get wii instruments.

I need some help please, I just formatted my Wii, ran the Rawk SD patcher, installed my customs, go to start up Rock Band 2, go to Solo Quickplay, and none of my customs show up I just get the default songs with 0 downloaded songs.

Has anyone got the correct number for the difficulty settings? The songs ripped from RB1 are great, but the difficulties for GH songs are whacky. If someone has already mapped this out, I would hate to do the work over.
