Hacking Random freezes and format nag

So both of these things may just be something I have to deal with.. The first is that some games will just randomly freeze on me. No idea why and there's no commonality as to when it happens...

Secondly, is there a way to get rid of that damned nag pop up when I boot my wii u asking to format my drive?

1. Try setting your Miiverse to english-only.
2. No. sorry. However you can hold B to go directly to the Wii menu, without the popup. Wii U menu still has the popup.

Wii U format issue can be solved with a little bit of work.
