Ok so we already have custom splash screens for booting sysnad through a9lh and emunand, is it possible to do custom splashes when u load a game instead of the boring "Nintendo 3ds" loading screen?

Not without modifying the ROM in some way. The boot splash for games and applications is contained within them.

What Joom said is true, however it would be possible for a CFW to patch this on the fly.

However that is editing the rom directly instead of through cfw

Damn very handy - Never even knew this was possible. Surely with something like SaltySD or by patching stuff like code.bin's we should be able to right? Luma just needs to add it in or am I wrong?

Luma just loads it in if i'm not mistaken.

That won't work. You need to repack the game for it to work.

Yeah - But it does essentially the same thing - If Luma didnt make support for it we would have to decrypt and build it with the new one just like we have to for logo.bin - So essentially its the same thing right?
