i've got 8 gigabytes on an sd card. Whoop de doo.
Do you know the difference between SD and Flash memory? One of those is 10x more expensive than the other.
I don't, would you please educate me? I know the difference between NAND and NOR flash memory, though, and I highly doubt that they used anything else than standard run-of-the-mill NAND chips, which are being used in SD cards, too.

SD cards are flash memory. You just had a blonde moment.

PS. NOR Flash is the expensive variety, which this card will not have. It will just have some generic NAND Flash.
PPS. I'm already assuming/betting that this is going to be like an N-Card with more memory.

Yeah i was just about to suggest that.

N-card has been rehashed many times including by the neoteam with the MK5. the hardware of this looks identical at least externally, and neoteam barely ever develop or update any new products so i doubt this uses a new loader.

Is this really 8 gigaBYTES and not gigaBITS? It could very well be one of the best flashcarts out there... just gotta see how much it costs.

REQUESTING REVIEW ZOMG

IF ONLY they had left the microSD slot that is on the case... IF ONLY it would be a true dreamcart. Oh well, it's got a Dragon on the label, what more can ya ask for?

Who'd want an 8GB memory storage for a DS? 1GB is more than enough for it's small games.

i have a 4gb micro sd that only has 250 megabytes of free space left might buy a 8gb soon

Woah, I rest my case then.

Personally the only device I'd need a 4+gb card for would be the PSP due to it's bigger games.

2GB is more than enough for me, since I'm not one that can't do the occasional swap-out of games and such. I still have over 400MB left.
The only applications in which I'd need a 4GB card are when running ROMS on the PSP or running an OS off CompactFlash memory.

Does anyone else notice something weird about this cart?

If the mini USB port is on the left hand side, what is that dip on the top of the cart for? Looks like a micro SD slot to me

I think that has happened on multiple versions of their flashcarts. Some of them have the dip for no reason. I forget which one it was though.

Uh the feature list says it also will be available with 32GB. That's bigger than my notebook's HD

*Build in 64Gb to 256Gb high speed memory

Gb is actually the notation for "gigabit", which would translate to 8-32 gigabytes of high speed memory. This makes much more logical sense, especially considering the very model we're talking about here apparently has 8 gigabyes of memory (R6 Xtreme 64G, as in 64Gb [gigabits] which is 8GB [gigabytes]).

Yes I know the difference, that's why I used a "B" instead of a "b". Should have mentioned it is an old notebook...

Don't mind that, Jeda. Some people can't help but entirely miss the point and flaunt the fact that they know how to divide by 8.

Now back on topic, another NeoFlash product! As many times as I've said support will be dropped and everyone will be screwed... the R6 seems to have had it's fair share of updates so I will pass on the remark this time! Can't say I need a cart that's 8GB in size; let alone 32GB. But whoever likes to keep the bulk of their DS roms at heart or entire sets of various other roms for emulation, I suppose this should do the trick.

Omg thats awesome!

So many games I could store...*drools*

Also what type of bad products did Neo did?(They can be that bad

It's 8 gigabytes, which is why the sticker on the front says 64G(igabits). Same thing for the AKRPG, which has 8G stamped on the front.
